The Ruihan RH-SJB is an IP68 waterproof double cable entry gland that routes two cables through a single sealed roof penetration. Two PG11 glands grip 14-8 AWG (2-6 mm²) cable, sealed by a silicone ring in a UV-stabilised ABS housing with anti-slip hex nuts for a locked, non-rotating fit. Fix it with adhesive, decor sealant or the three included stainless steel self-tapping screws. Each set contains the white housing, two glands and three screws. Frequently Asked Questions
How do I install the gland?
Pass each cable through a gland and tighten the cap by hand, then fix the housing with the included stainless steel self-tapping screws — or with glue and decor sealant where you prefer not to drill. The wider flange gives a generous sealing face either way.
What cable sizes fit?
14-8 AWG (2-6 mm²). The two PG11 glands are independent, so you can run two cables of different gauges through the same entry.
How is IP68 achieved?
A silicone sealing ring seals the base, the PG11 glands seal each cable, and the drop-shaped top face sheds water instead of letting it pool. The design is patent pending.
Why do other glands slip when tightening?
Spacing between the internal nuts lets the gland body rotate as you tighten the cap. Ruihan adds a hexagon nut set that closes the gap, so the gland bites and stays put — fewer re-tightening trips to the roof.
Will it discolour in the sun?
The ABS is compounded with an anti-UV agent to resist yellowing and cracking under long-term exposure, and the seal is silicone rather than perishable rubber.
